PC in My Hand Setup Guide
Before you begin, please ensure that your PC is connected to your router with a LAN cable. To use PC in My Hand, the PC have a wired network interface card (NIC) that supports WOL and also a router connected to the Internet are required.
At first, you must download the installation package for Windows to install.
STEP 1: Select which wired network card will be bound to PC in My Hand
After completed the installation, running the PC in My Hand and then click the Setup Wizard button to begin the configuration.
In the select NIC step, just choose an online network card that the program will generate some appropriate values. Keep the values default if change is not necessary. Sometimes the specified port may be occupied by other application, in this case, just insert a number in front, such as 18100, 28100, or 38100 etc..
In the next, there are two modes you may select. The one is Easy mode, in this mode STEP 2 is not required, you can skip to STEP 3, but it just supports remote control your PC by WIFI (the client device and the target PC on the same LAN) and a mobile device client program is necessary (now the iphone app client is available). If you select the other Advanced mode, you will be able to control your PC by LAN as well as Internet.
STEP 2: Binding your network card to the router
This step
requires you to configure 4 items on the router:
1,
Address Reservation;
2, Port Forwarding;
3, ARP Binding;
4, Dynamic DNS.
The following-mentioned example is a TP-LINK router, other brands of routers can be set up by reference. On the new window input the user name and password of your router on the right if an authorization is required.
Once you have entered the configuration interface of the router, look for a setting called such as "Address Reservation", then add a new entry.

On the target field click your mouse to activate the input focus, and then click the corresponding button on the left to fill in automatically. Also you can use the Ctrl+V on your keyboard to paste it in corresponding field. Click the Save button to complete this setting.

Configure the Port Forwarding and ARP Binding are very close to Address Reservation. Just find the two entries follow the instructions above to do.
Last, DDNS is necessary if you do not use a fixed IP address. Find the Dynamic DNS page, register from a DDNS service provider to get a domain name URL. Fill in your domain user name, password and the domain name URL, as well as fill in to the DDNS Domain Name field of this setup wizard, save them.

Close the window and go to the next step.
STEP 3: Update settings to your PCinMyHand account
In the following step, you will be required to register a PCinMyHand account so you can access this PC anywhere via your mobile device browser. If you already have it, please enter it. Click Update button to complete the all above settings.
STEP 4: Configure your server options
On the main server program there is a couple of advanced settings that you may find useful.

STEP 5: Sign in pcinmyhand.com to control your PC
Now, you can remote control the PC via your mobile device browser, even if it has been total shut down.
